Jeff Albert, PhD.Jeff Albert, PhD
Jeff is a water resource specialist. Before joining Aquaya, Jeff was an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Environmental fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency's Global Change Research Program. He also holds an adjunct appointment at the Watson Institute of International Studies at Brown University. Jeff has degrees from Brown and Yale Universities, and was most recently jointly appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Geological Sciences and Center for Environmental Studies at Brown University between 2002 and 2004. Jeff is a 2005 recipient of EPA's Bronze Medal for his work on drinking water in response to the Indian Ocean tsunami.

Ranjiv Khush, PhD.Ranjiv Khush, PhD
Ranjiv is a microbiologist and immunologist. Prior to joining Aquaya, Ranjiv was a AAAS Diplomacy fellow in the Office of the Science and Technology Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of State. Before joining the Department of State, Ranjiv held a Research Scientist appointment in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Ranjiv has degrees from the Universities of California at Davis and Santa Cruz, and was a Postdoctoral fellow at the Centre National de Recherché Scientifique in Paris, France. Ranjiv has also worked at an agricultural biotechnology company and taught medical microbiology for four years.

Alicia London, MEM, MPHAlicia London, MEM, MPH
Alicia is an international development professional. Prior to joining Aquaya, Alicia worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and CARE International Indonesia on household water treatment and hand washing studies in Banda Aceh, Indonesia and with the World Health Organization's European Centre for Environment and Health in Rome. Alicia has also served as a community development, rural sanitation, and health educator with the U.S. Peace Corps in Bolivia and worked with Crisis Corps in Honduras to rehabilitate water services damaged by Hurricane Mitch. Previously, Alicia was the Program Director for Bay Area Wilderness Training, an environmental education organization that introduces inner city youth to California's natural resources. Alicia holds two graduate degrees from Yale University: a Master's of Global Public Health and a Master's of Environmental Management focused on water policy, management, and science.

Zarah RahmanZarah Rahman
Zarah is an international development and public health professional. Prior to joining Aquaya, Zarah worked as a researcher at the Hanoi School of Public Health and at the Clinton Foundation in Vietnam as a Henry Luce Scholar. Previously Zarah traveled to Aceh, Indonesia to conduct field research for her Honors Thesis on resettlement after the 2004 tsunami. She returned to Aceh in 2008 with grants from the National Geographic Expeditions Council and the Seven Fund to conduct research and produce a documentary on natural resource extraction, tropical forest conservation and local livelihoods. Zarah speaks Vietnamese, Hindi, and Indonesian and has a degree in Development Studies from Brown University.
