Len has worked in the health policy field for over 14 years focusing on insurance coverage for children, hospital uncompensated care, consumer protection and the health care workforce. He is a Senior Program Officer at the California Health Care Foundation specializing in access to health services for underserved populations. Len received his Doctor of Public Health degree from the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. His research has been published in Academic Medicine, American Journal of Public Health, Health Education and Behavior, and Public Health Reports. Len is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Community Health Education at San Francisco State University.
